Rachel Bardon has been appointed to the newly-created role of Chief Underwriting Officer (CUO) at Compre, the Bermuda-domiciled international specialty reinsurance group, effective September 1st, 2025. Based in Bermuda, Bardon will join Compre’s executive committee and report directly to Group CEO Will Bridger.

Bardon’s Background and Experience
Rachel Bardon brings 25 years of experience in insurance and reinsurance to her new position. She joins Compre following nearly a decade at Hudson Structured Capital Management (HSCM), the reinsurance, insurtech, insurance-linked securities (ILS) and transportation focused investment manager, where she most recently served as Partner, Chief Investment Officer of insurance credit and deputy Chief Investment Officer of reinsurance for HSCM’s reinsurance activities.
