Hudson Structured Capital Management’s Rachel Bardon Joins Compre as Chief Underwriting Officer

Rachel Bardon has been appointed as Chief Underwriting Officer (CUO) at Compre, a Bermuda-based international specialty reinsurance group.

Bardon will join Compre’s executive committee and report directly to Group CEO Will Bridger, effective September 1st, 2025.

Bardon brings 25 years of experience in insurance and reinsurance to her new role.

She joins Compre following nearly a decade at Hudson Structured Capital Management (HSCM), where she was Partner and Chief Investment Officer.

Bardon will be responsible for business development across the group, encompassing new business origination, reinsurance underwriting, and transaction execution.

She will also join the board of Compre’s Bermuda-based reinsurer, Pallas Reinsurance Company Limited.

Bardon’s appointment is a testament to Compre’s commitment to attracting and retaining top talent in the industry.

Her strong commercial background will bring a unique perspective to the business, enabling Compre to further grow its core North American market.

Bardon’s experience spans underwriting, investment, and portfolio management, with a focus on private investments in P&C insurance enterprises and collateralized reinsurance.

She will drive business growth and expansion in the North American market, leveraging her expertise in underwriting, investing, and portfolio management.
